Clothing Swap – February 15

Beat Kitchen is partnering with Petals & Jackets and FunkyinChicago for a fun-filled afternoon celebrating secondhand style, good company, and fresh beginnings- one pre-loved piece at a time!

12–12:30pm: Sip, mingle, and hang your items (hangers provided!)

(Leah & Elise will help sort clothing to make the racks and tables feel extra shoppable and categorized by size.)

1pm-3pm: Let’s swap! While there aren’t fitting rooms, we recommend wearing tight fitted clothing like leggings and a t-shirt so you can easily check for fit. Full length mirrors will also be available.

How it Works: This is a size and gender inclusive clothing swap. Bring your own bag and 5-7 clean, like-new to gently-used clothing and select accessories (bags, belts, scarves, and like-new shoes) in good condition that you no longer want, but might spark something for someone else. If you do not have clothes to contribute, you can still come to take items. Clothing will be organized by size.

You’ll then shop for up to 7 new-to-you pieces to take home. Any clothing not claimed will be donated.

Additional perks: Petals & Jackets will also have a small selection of curated vintage & modern pieces for purchase and a $10 off coupon toward your next visit at Petals & Jackets shop located at 1105 North Ashland Ave.

RSVP here to reserve your spot.
