Michael Green Band
Michael Green Band
The Michael Green Band is a new, fast growing force in the modern blues scene. Founded in late 2016, the band is set to release their debut single in May 2017 and their first full EP in early Fall.

The main driving force in the band is the young songwriter Michael Green. When listening to his music you can immediately hear the blues and classic rock influence from his youth. A Chicago native, as a young teenager Michael sharpened his chops by sneaking into any blues club or dive bar that would have him. He now frequents plying at Kingston Mines and other blues clubs around the city.

He is now returning to the music after an extended hiatus due to a near career ending injury. Michael and drummer Tom Fry, long time friends and band mates since high school, began rehearsing new songs over the summer of 2016, and once they began the train just kept on rolling. Regarding getting back into songwriting, he stated, “When I began to play again, I opened the creative tap to see if anything would come out. I haven't been able to stop it from flowing since.” This new burst of energy, creativity and inspiration can be heard in every performance of this young, new band and certainly makes them a group to watch out for.

The new sound these young musicians have discovered is incredibly fresh, yet comfortably familiar. The sound of the band and the compositions has been described by Michael as, “John Mayer meets Keith Richards” The music can range anywhere to sweet and grooving to downright gritty. Whether seeing the band live or listening to their recordings, one can hear the blues acrobatics of Stevie Ray Vaughan, the pop/soul feel of John Mayer, the funky grooves of Galactic, and the heavy guitar rock of Jack White. These wide ranging influences create a very unique sound that has the blues at the heart of every song.
Sir Mango
Sir Mango
Sir Mango is a band committed to the songs that make you want to throw down, throw up, cry, laugh, and think deeply about all that important bullshit.
Luke Underhill
Luke Underhill
With diverse influences ranging from Gavin DeGraw and Bruce Springsteen to Ed Sheeran and Ben Folds, the multi-talented 21-year-old singer/songwriter, Luke Underhill, is preparing to make his mark in the format. The Chicago area performer’s emotional renditions of his songs have already earned him comparisons to a young John Mayer – while some more upbeat arrangements inspire exciting flashes of early Bryan Adams. After beginning 2017 in the studio with Mikal Blue (Colbie Caillat, Jason Mraz), the young talent is ready to take his growing fan base deeper into the heart of his music with the upcoming Revolver Recordings EP, The Left Side.

The new release follows two self-released projects in 2015, “Atlas” and “Atlas Unplugged,” along with a self-produced single in 2016, “Too Good for Me.” The future proves to be bright for this budding star and he prepares for the August 4th release of his upcoming Revolver Recordings EP, The Left Side. The lead off track, “I’ll Be Waiting,” is available now on iTunes and all digital streaming services.
Sarah Eide
Sarah Eide
Sarah is no stranger to gripping an audience with her powerful voice and lyrically beautiful music. A classical piano background coupled with a love for American folk and roots music has led Sarah to writing songs that are daring yet familiar. She writes lyrics that are all at once raw, smart and intimate, while wrapping them in expressive melodies and adventurous chord changes. It's within these songs that she dares question aloud spirituality, morality, relationships, societal standards, her place in the world and where the line lies between right and wrong.

Having graduated from Berklee College of Music, Sarah intended to make her mark in LA as a film composer. While she was well on her way to doing so, she ended up in the Midwest by an unexpected twist of fate. After months of working remotely on various independent games, advertisements and films, she found herself feeling unfulfilled and yearning for more. "I came to Chicago without knowing anyone in the music scene. I had to figure out who I was as a musician and songwriter, as well as who I was as a person. Somehow that feeling of loneliness and exploring the unknown thrust me into my own self discovery and got the creative juices flowing. I'd like to think a lot of good has come from it," Sarah says. The result of this creative struggle is an arsenal of new songs accompanied by musicians from an ever-expanding network. Since late October 2014, Sarah began playing in Chicago proper, all the while gaining new fans and attracting the attention of Chicago music's best.
