SHOW DESCRIPTION
Music affects each of us individually, & the emotions we associate with a song are determined by our specific history. Karaoke Storytellers takes a closer look into those personal histories with music, and lends a microphone to those who have a story about a song. Each show features performers telling a short story about a song followed by a karaoke performance of the song. Performers include four booked members of the Chicago community, one audience volunteer, & Franny Giroux (the show’s creator played by Connor Gorman). The show is hosted by Chicago native & master storyteller, Jacoby Cochran and DJ'd by legendary Chicago artist Lily Be.
